We recommend Roberson's PVA Medium (glue) which is pH Neutral – unlike most PVA glues

Made from professional quality polyvinyl acetate (PVA). This white, pH neutral, high viscosity white emulsion forms a clear flexible film when dry, making it excellent for bookbinding, collages, card making and other works on paper.

The adhesive spreads well; it has a good open time which allows time for positioning and the film lays flat thus leaving a smooth finish to the work.

 When dry it forms an acid-free, flexible, clear film that is solvent-free and is insoluble in water.

 It can also be used as a medium for mixing with acrylics and dry pigments.
 
You can of course use it as a  high quality general purpose glue for wood, concrete, paper, etc. Thinning with water 50/50 will give a solution suitable for use as a size/primer for paper surfaces.
